This rare low mileage DB180 Silver-grey with stunning 243 Red Leather interior 1969 280SL was sold new by Powers Motor Company of Morristown New Jersey to a well known leader in Plastics Engineering Dr.Islyn Thomas. After his passing in 2002 it was acquired by the second owners who we purchased it from. With two tops Rear seat, Chrome Hard top rails, Ivory colored steering wheel, F & R bumper guards, Power steering, Automatic transmission, Air Conditioner, Becker Europa AM/FM radio DB180 Silver Gray Metallic Paint and the very rare Red Leather interior it certainly qualifies as a highly optioned 280SL. This all original panel no rust or accident history car has had one trim off high quality repaint in recent years that I would still rate as a 9 1/2 out of a 10! Only 60k documented miles. It comes with original books & metal data plate as well as tool kit and chrome hardtop handles. It has all correct factory spot welds and front fender notches.
