This rare “low grille” convertible, of which only 395 were sold in the U.S., was purchased new by Robin Cook, the well known author of “Coma”, among other thrillers. He owned it until 2002 when it came up from Florida to its second owner, who kept it on Martha’s Vineyard for the last several years. In the last 1000 miles, it has had a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic upgrade with receipts totaling over $65,000. This work includes a new soft top, wood trim refinishing, four new Bilstein shock absorbers, four new springs, a complete front end rebuild with all new Kingpins, motor mounts, subframe mounts, transmission mounts, all new brake rotors, calipers, hoses and brake pads, valve job, a complete new exhaust system, and every hose and belt. It still has all of it’s original panels with no rust anywhere. It has been refinished in the original DB350 medium dark blue with red leather and blue soft top. It has a desirable floor shift and comes with the original books and tool kit as well as restoration receipts. This car runs and drives like new.
