Back in our inventory is this exceptional 1970 Horizon Blue 280 SL. We first purchased this genuine original Southern California SL in July of 1996 with only 73k miles on it. We did a show quality repaint in the original DB304 Horizon Blue, as well a thorough mechanical service. We replaced the original soft top with a correct German canvas top. The car retains its original hard top with the optional chrome moldings.  It has the rare option of a correct Becker AM/FM stereo radio & a hirschmann power antenna. The interior is original and in excellent condition then as it still is today, including the original rubber drivers heel pad demonstrating its low mileage and care over the years. It was then sold to a local collector who subsequently retired to Arizona where it remained until he returned it to us late 2013. While in his care, only 6k additional miles were driven all that time. Of course it has the original front fender notches as well as all correct factor spot welds and all original body panels.  Once returned we did a complete major mechanical service and engine bay show detail as well as a new factory exhaust system. The car was the sold to a local collector in 2014 with 79,588 miles on it, who just traded it back to us. The seat covers, door panels, dash cover, kick panels, rear panels, convertible top cover pad and complete carpet set are all original with no cuts or cracks or tears and are in exceptional original condition, again demonstrating the care this car has had from new. The seat pads have been replaced with new factory horsehair seat pads (not aftermarket). The glass and chrome are also original and excellent. It comes with all its original books and proper tool kit. Don’t mistake this car for the typical used up SL’s out there with a quickie rehash. This is a real original survivor car sympathetically brought up to our high standards.
