1966 230SL ZF 5-Speed

1966 230SL ZF 5-Speed

Ultra rare factory ZF 5-Speed Transmission car with all original panels and no rust ever. We have known history since new. It was sold new in Rome, Italy to an Alitalia Pilot who then sold it to an American Architect working in Italy, who brought it back with him in 1980. Subsequently sold to a board member of the Lars Anderson Museum of Transportation in Brookline. We did a sympathetic restoration as needed to this original survivor car. Subsequently, we sold it to a local lady who only drove it 12k miles in nice weather for the last 11 years. We just got it back and are servicing and detailing it to our high standards including recent tires, exhaust, master cylinder, motor mounts, sub-frame mounts, rear axel mount, gaskets, wood-refinishing, major service, etc.
1966 230SL

1966 230SL | 39,000 Miles

This mint unmolested survivor 230SL with only 39k miles is in excellent condition. It was a one owner car when we purchased it 10 years ago and we just got it back from the collector we sold it to. He only put 2k fair weather miles on it. This is a remarkable, original paint 230SL that still has it's original fender notches. We just finished a complete service and detail to our high standards.
1967 230SL

1967 230SL

This all original panel, no accidents, rust-free, low-mileage car was purchased by a local doctor in the summer of 1967 from Auto Engineering, the local Mercedes-Benz dealer in Lexington, MA, at the time. It was purchased by a well-known collector/restorer in the early 2000's. It was serviced by Hatch & Sons during this time period, but due to its originality, the owner decided not to restore it but to keep it as an original survivor car. At that time, it still only had mileage in the low 80's. In 2005, it was sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach, FL, to another collector with 83,000 original miles on it. In August of 2008, it was sold to the last owner with 85,000 miles on it, a collector who decided to do a complete restoration to the car at a cost of well over $50,000. Unfortunately, he passed away just before it was finished. We purchased it in July of 2011 and are presently finishing the restoration to our high standards. Comes with original books, tools, restoration receipts, etc.
1968 280SL Roadster

1968 280SL Roadster | 76,000 Miles

We just took in trade this original 4 speed manual transmission survivor SL with only 76k miles. It still has all original panels, mostly original paint with no rust or accident damage in it's history, and excellent interior and chrome. It was traded to us by the second collector owner in June of 1997 with 55k miles. One of our employees purchased it immediately and then had us do a complete mechanical upgrade to it. He only drove it six hundred miles until we sold it for him to the last owner in May of 1999, who put 20k miles of fair weather driving on it in the last 14 years. We are currently servicing and updating it to our high standards, which includes the removal of most chrome trim for a complete professional color sand, machine compound, buff and wax of all paint surfaces. Note original panel numbers on hood and soft top cover panel, wax marks in headlight buckets, and original notches on front fender!
This is a rare factory two tone DB117 Papyrus White car with a DB904 Midnight Blue hardtop and matching hubcaps. It also has the original Blaupunkt AM/FM/SW/ radio and Hirschman power antenna. It has upgraded factory retractable seat belts and the optional third seat.

1969 280SL Roadster

1969 280SL Roadster | 37,942 Miles

It is very seldom that we find an original, low mileage survivor 280SL, but to find two in a row is absolutely amazing. This particular car has a wonderful documented history from new. It was sold new to a lady from Dover, MA, by Foreign Motors in Boston on April 22, 1969. She traded in a 1965 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible on it. She left it to her son on February 29, 1984 with only 20,008 miles. He started bringing it to us for service on May 31, 1988 with 26,790 miles. In the fall of 1989 we purchased it from the son and subsequnetly sold it to a local collector on November 15, 1989 with 27,226 miles on it.

Almost four years later, we bought it back from him on July 28, 1993 with 28,776 miles on it. He only drove it 1,500 miles during that time. We then sold it to a well known collector on August 3, 1993 with 28,780 miles on it.

After 18 years, we just bought it back with only 37,942 miles on it. We have many service records documenting the service and care this car has had through the years by its caretaker owners. It is a true original survivor car with original paint, chrome, carpets, interior, drive train, etc. The soft top canvas was replaced once and is in excellent condition. We just completed a major service and detail to bring it up to our high standards.

If you weren't lucky enough to ownb one of these in 1969 this car truly turns back the hands of time as this car looks, drives, and handles as it did when new. I believe this to be the best original, untouched 280SL in the country. As a restorer of these cars for the last 38 years, I can always restore one to like-new condition but I cannot create an original car - only Mercedes-Benz could have done that over 40 years ago!
1969 280 SL Roadster

Hatch and Sons performed a complete body, paint, and mechanical restoration to this car for the owner in 1994 when it had 67k miles on it. We bought it back from him a few years later in October of 1998 with 70k miles on it. We sold it to a local collector in June of 1999 with 71k miles on it. We traded it back in June of 2000 with 72,600 miles and purchased it back in April of 2005 with 73,500 miles. Each time we have owned it we have done any service or upgrading it required. We just finished servicing and detailing it to our high standards, as well as installing a new blue soft top. This exceptional and rare SL is a true find.

1970 280SL Roadster

1970 280SL Roadster

This beautiful example of a 280SL comes equipped with a 4-Speed Manual Transmission and features a Light Ivory exterior on a Bamboo interior. It is a rust-free, all original panel SL which was sold new in Dallas, Texas, and spent the first twenty years of its life there until coming to New Mexico in the early nineties. It was restored in New Mexico in the early 2000's and sold to a collector here in the Spring of 2004. We acquired it recently and are completing a $25,000 mechanical and cosmetic freshening up to our high standards. It comes with approximately $70,000 worth of restoration receipts as well as most service receipts dating back to 1970.
1970 280 SL

It also has a new soft top and hardtop restoration by SL Tech. We just completed a service and detail to our high standards.
1970 280SL

1970 280SL | 79,000 Miles

We first purchased this genuine original Southern California SL in July of 1996 with only 73k miles on it. We then did a show quality repaint in the original DB304 Horizon Blue paint, as well a a complete major mechanical service + upgrade. We replaced the original soft top with a correct German canvas top. It also has the original hard top with the optional chrome moldings. In addition it has the rare option of a correct Becker AM/FM stereo radio & a hirschmann power antenna.

The interior was original and in excellent condition then as it still is today, including the original rubber drivers heel pad demonstrating its low mileage and care over the years.

We then sold it to a local collector who subsequently retired to Arizona were it has been ever since. He only put 6k additional careful miles on it in all those years. The body and paint are still as nice as they were when he purchased it. No dings, dents or scratches. Of course it has the original front fender notches as well as all correct factor spot welds and all original body panels.

We just completed a major mechanical service and engine bay show detail as well as a complete new factory exhaust system.

The seat covers, door panels, dash cover, kick panels, rear panels, convertible top cover pad and complete carpet set are all original with no cuts or cracks or tears and are in exceptional original condition, again demonstrating the care this car has had from new. The seat pads have been replaced with new factory horsehair seat pads (not aftermarket).

The glass and chrome are also original and excellent.

It comes with all its original books and proper tool kit. Don't mistake this car for the typical used up SL's out there with a quickie rehash. This is a real original survivor car sympathetically brought up to our high standards.

1971 280SL

1971 280SL | 14,000 Miles

This unbelievable original 1971 280SL has only 14k documented miles since delivered on October 19,1970 to the original owner. It was never driven in inclement weather, nor did it spend a night outside. In June of 1983, he sold it to a well-known Mercedes Benz collector in Rancho Santa Fe California. At that time it had only 13k miles. He kept it in his collection for almost 20 years and only put a few miles on it for service and upkeep. In January of 2003, he sold it to another well known Mercedes Benz collector in Alexandria Virginia, who kept it for almost 4 years and only put about 300 miles on it until we purchased it. This 280SL has all its original books, tool kit, as well the 4 original Continental white wall tires with 13k miles that it was delivered with new. Never smoked in with unused ashtray and lighter. It also has the original snowflake decal on the windshield and the original Brown German canvas soft top in excellent condition. It has never had any collision damage or rust issues. All sheet metal panels are original with correct spot welds and front fender hash marks.
1971 280SL

1971 280SL | 64,000 Miles

We first saw this exceptional SL in 1996, when the original lady-owner from Rancho Mirage, California, gave it to her daughter here in Massachusetts, who was one of our customers. It only had 59,000 Miles at that time. In August of 1997, we sold it to one of our best customers, a well-known Mercedes collector. We then did a sympathetic survivor restoration to this car for him. This included installing a taller, re-built 3.27 Final-Drive Rear-Axle Differential. We also upgraded the original A/C System so it actually works! We did a complete and thorough mechanical upgrade, including a valve job and engine-bay show detail. We also installed a new convertible top and carpet set and re-finished the wood-dash trim. It has only been driven 5k miles since then in fair weather, and now has 64,000 Miles. We are presently doing a service and detail to bring it up to our high standards. This is a factory, full-beige leather interior car with optional DB 462 Tunis-Beige Metallic paint, automatic-transmission, original Frigiking Air Conditioning, Hirschmann Power Antenna, and factory Becker-Europa stereo. This is a real, rust-free Southern California car. It has all original panels, and the correct, original front fender notches. This is truly an exceptional 280SL.
1971 280SE 3.5 Coupe

1971 280SE 3.5 Coupe | 59,000 Miles

This original, low-mileage 280SE 3.5 in Silver/Blue over Blue is a genuine 59,000 mile car. Interior is in phenomenal original condition. Three owners, runs and drives like new!
1971 280SL Roadster

1971 280SL Roadster | 24,617 Miles

We are proud to announce this 280SL won Best of Show Vintage Street at Minuteman MBCA's Germanfest XXV Concours at the Lars Anderson Museum of Transportation in Brookline, MA. It scored 399 out of a possible 400 points!

Equipped with automatic transmission, factory Becker Europa AM/FM Stereo Radio, and original dealer-installed Frigiking Air Conditioning.

We just stripped to bare metal and repainted this rust-free, all original panel SL in Sikkens two-stage Eurothane Enamel DB-571 Metallic Red; its stunning and optional rare original color! It was a difficult decision, and as you can see in the before photos, the paint was very nice and would have been fine for most people – however it was not Hatch & Sons quality; but it is now.

The black interior is perfect and original as you would expect in a low mileage example like this. We did refinish the original wood dash trim in the correct satin finish. We also replaced the soft top with correct original German Canvas material. Even the clock still keeps good time.

After 40 years, even with its extremely low mileage, it still needed a complete mechanical refurbishment at a cost of over $20,000.

This car is fully sorted and drives like new. It is not a “Garage Queen”. Amazingly, it still has the original grease pencil markings from the production line inside the headlight buckets. The inside of the bumpers, headlights, taillights, and trunk gasket still have the original assembly line date stamps.

Probably the most telling thing about this car is its chrome. It is all original, we did not replace one single piece of chrome on this car; and not only is it original, it is exceptional. No dings, no dents, no tarnish. It is the nicest original chrome I’ve seen on a 280SL in 30 years, and I’ve owned a lot of them, over 130 at last count since my first 67 230SL in 1973; not to mentions the hundreds we serviced and restored for our customers as well.

Even the original tinted windshield is in nice shape with no chips, stars, or sandblasting. We did of course replace the gasket while it was out for painting.

It was sold new by Inskip Motors in Providence, Rhode Island, on January 21, 1971 to a Cranston, Rhode Island, lady. The couple that we bought it from were the second owners who purchased it on June 13, 2000 with 18,106 miles from the same Inskip Motors, a Mercedes-Benz new car dealer. We purchased it on November 18, 2010 with 24,524 miles from the second owners.

This was truly a sympathetic restoration to one of the best and last survivors out there. This may be one of your last chances to get a true “Hatch & Sons” 113SL, as I’m not sure how many more, if any, I will do.

Of course, it comes with the original books, manuals, tool kit, top handles, and original Firestone Phoenix white-wall tire in the trunk.
1971 300SEL 6.3

1971 300SEL 6.3

I purchased this car from the second owner in February of 1994 as a 50th Birthday present to make into a nice daily driver for myself. I had owned a number of 6.3's over the years as they were my favorite model Mercedes.

As this was a nice straight, solid car in the quite rare color of DB040 Black with Black leather interior and factory sunroof and last year of U.S. production I felt this was a real keeper.

This car was built in July of 1970 and sold under the European Delivery Program in August of 1970 to the original owners; a couple from Fairhaven Massachusetts. The second owner, a friend, purchased it from them in February of 1991, and used it very little in the three years he owned it.

After servicing and detailing, I drove it a short time before deciding I liked it so much that I would just have to make a new car out of it. We started by pulling the engine and doing a full rebuild including new oil pump, rings, rods and main bearings, rocker arms, timing chain, etc., as well as porting and polishing the heads, extrusion honing the exhaust manifolds, and installing European spec. camshafts to give it a little more zip than the average 6.3.

The project then got put on the back-burner for a while due to cash and time constraints. Over the next few years, we would work on it from time to time when we could fit it in between customer work. Finally, in 2003 a collector customer of ours saw it and made a deal for us to finish the restoration for him. It helped that I was now into my 280SL 3.5 Project. We finished the car in the Spring of 2004 and showed it five times between June and September that year. It won Best in Class or Best in Show at each one including National 1st Place in Show Class at MBCA's Starfest in Mansfield, Ohio on August 1, 2004. The only car that beat it at that show was our 1971 280SE 3.5 Convertible which outpointed it by 1 point to win Overall National Best of Show! I truly believe this to be the best 6.3 in the country as we spared no expense on this 10-year restoration. I have owned and worked on many 6.3's over the years since the first one I purchased in the mid 70's.

This car comes with all restoration invoices and pictures documenting the restoration. It has been driven less than 2,000 miles since completion of the restoration in 2004.
1971 300SEL 6.3

1971 300SEL 6.3

This was the personal car of a well known 600 and 6.3 restorer. He purchased it in 1986 with 61k miles from the original owner. He shipped the car to Germany to have it refinished in the original color as he did not feel the quality of the original paint could be duplicated in this country. Over twenty years later the paint is still exceptional and can't be told from the original. It has all original panels and no accident damage or rust. This is an amazing "survivor" car with original cognac leather, wool carpets, burl wood trim and exterior chrome trim. I purchased it in April of 1992 with 77k miles and sold it in October of 1993 with 78k miles to a collector and friend in Georgia. He drove it less than 1000 miles and ended up selling it back to me in May of 1994. I then sold it to a well known midwestern collector in September of 1994 with 79k miles on it. He also drove it less than 1000 miles and sold it back to me in 2000. In June of 2001 I sold it again to a local collector with 81k miles on it. He only put 2000 miles on it over the last 11 years before I purchased it from him with 83k miles on it. You can probably notice the pattern here. I just love this particular car and I am always reluctant to let it go, but at least I've been able to enjoy it between owners. As always we are presently detailing and servicing it to our high standards for it's new owner to enjoy!
1971 280 SE 3.5 Convertible

1971 280 SE 3.5 Convertible

We are thrilled to have acquired this stunning Mercedes Benz Club of America "National Starfest Best of Show" winner. At a cost of almost three hundred thousand dollars, a three year total ground up Concours restoration was completed by Hatch and Sons in 2004 on this original 3.5 convertible. On August 1, 2004, at the MBCA Starfest Concours D'Elegance, in Shelby, Ohio, it won National Best of Show! We recently purchased it after less than 900 miles were put on it since 2004. After some minor service and detailing, it just won another Best of Show at the MBCA Minuteman section Germanfest XXVI on September 16, 2012, at the Lars Anderson Museum of Transportation in Brookline, Massachusetts, against an all Mercedes field. This stunning DB040 Black with gorgeous red leather 3.5 convertible not only is still a best of show winner, but is fully sorted out and drives like only a great 3.5 can. This original floor shift car comes complete with an owner's manual, a tool kit, and convertible top chrome release levers. If you want the very best, this is it! This spectacular car would be impossible to replicate at today's higher parts prices, new old stock parts limited availability, and increased chrome plating costs. A great value at less than the cost of it's 2004 restoration, I firmly believe this to the best 3.5 convertible in the country; it looks, runs, and drives like new. This is the last, the best, and the most expensive restoration of the many 3.5's we have restored over the last 25 years.
1971 280SL

1971 280SL | 18,200 Miles

We purchased this car from the second owner in May of 1998 with only 8,637 miles. The first owner, a lady from Rockaway, New York, purchased it new on July 27th 1971. She put most of the 8,600 miles on it because the second owner was a Mercedes collector who showed it, but drove it very little. We spent over $10,000 servicing & detailing it before selling it to another lady owner a month later in June of 1998. She drove it a total of 9,493 miles in the next 14 years until we purchased it back with just 18,131 miles. This amazing, original survivor car is in pristine condition with no rust or accident damage. Of course, it has the correct original fender notches and original spot welds. We removed most of the chrome trim to do a complete compound, buff and wax to bring it back to like new luster and shine.
It still has the the original wax inspection marks inside the headlight buckets that were done on the assembly line, as well as the original undamaged rubber (NLA) heel pad on the drivers rug and the original, never mounted Continental white wall spare tire and wheel.
As a result of it mostly sitting the last 3 or 4 years, we just completed a major service and update at a cost of well over $20,000, which includes all new tires, brakes, battery, exhaust system, suspension bushings, engine mounts, transmission mount, subframe mounts, etc., as well as a new canvas convertible top. It is very well equipped with a 4 speed automatic transmission, air conditioning, rear third seat, Becker Europa AM/FM radio, Hirschman power antenna and both tops. It comes with all the original books and manuals, toolkit & chrome top removal handles, and the original window sticker and metal data plate.
1971 300SEL 6.3

1971 300SEL 6.3 | 53,700 Miles

We are very excited to offer this amazing one lady owner, low mileage, rust free, survivor 6.3.

With its excellent original full leather interior, wilton wool carpeting featuring an original unblemished factory drivers heel pad, french elm wood dash trim, chrome and glass, it shows just enough patina to further document its extremely low 53,700 miles since new.

We have just completed a show quality refinish in its original stunning DB904 midnight blue using Sikkens two stage eurothane enamel.

The mechanicals are equally impressive with over $40,000 in recent repairs, including: Starter, Alternator, Voltage Regulator, Distributor cap & Rotor, Condenser & green wire, Ignition wire set, Spark Pugs, Sub Frame Mounts, Motor Mounts, Transmission Mount, Front & Rear Bilstein shocks, Air Suspension Tank, Drain Valve, Compressor lines, AntiFreeze Device, Main Suspension Valve, All three Suspension Valves, And Four Airbags, Electric Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, All Fuel Hoses & Gas Vapor Recovery Tank. This fantastic 6.3 Looks Runs & Drives Like New! Voted the best sedan in the world by Road & Track Magazine when new this rare automobile will turn back the clock to those great times every time you get behind the wheel. With a top Speed of 140 MPH and capable of Zero to Sixty times in the 6.5 Second range you'll have no trouble keeping up with modern traffic in style and comfort unlike most old cars. As Road & Track summarized after their test drive, 'The 6.3 was Truly The Executive Road Racer… Does More Different Things Well Than Any Other Single Car.'

I purchased my first 6.3 In the mid 1970's and have owned and worked on many more since. I truly believe this is one of the best example extant, and with only 487 built for the US market in 1971 it certainly is one of the rarest in such unbelievable condition! Of course it comes with Books, toolkit, receipts, and even the original sales invoice from 1971.

1973 450SL

1973 450SL | 36,000 Miles

We found this one-owner, 36,000 mile southern 450SL earlier this year and just finished a complete cosmetic and mechanical upgrade to this spectacular survivor car. It features a DB571 Brilliant Red Metallic exterior on complementing Black Leather interior. It has all original panels with no accident history or rust ever and is a non-smoker car with no dings or dents. The owner’s wife only used it as a fair-weather driver. It has only been driven 1500 miles in the last eleven years. With that little use, of course it was due for a major service - hoses, belt, tires, exhaust, mounts, bushings, and more. Cosmetically, it is exceptional as you can see from the pictures. Mechanically, it is in like-new condition as we just spent over $11,000 to make it exceptional. The small-bumper early 107 SL’s are getting extremely hard to find in this kind of condition. Comes with all original books, manuals, tool kit, keys, and Dunlop spare. Don\'t mistake this SL for one of the typical, run of the mill, worn-out cars you usually see for sale.

With only 42,042 miles on this exceptional original low mileage 450SEL 6.9, it has to be one of the best in the country! This 6.9 features stunning Black exterior with Flawless original Bamboo leather. The car has been collector owned and cared for since new. It was sold by us 10 years ago, and has been serviced by us since then. It is a US car with all options including heated seats. This car also has European halogen headlights installed. The 450SEL 6.9 was the most expensive sedan Mercedes-Benz produced at the time. This car has been in no accidents and has original paint. Only 1816 were sold in the US, and only 576 were sold as 1979 models. The 1979 models were the best of all the years. This car looks, runs and drives flawlessly. Porsche
1972 911 T RS Prototype

1972 911 T RS Prototype | 46,848 Miles

This car started as an original, rust-free 1972 non-sunroof 911T with S-Package and 46,000 miles. After that the car was replicated to the prototype RS or 2.7S specifications as depicted in Konradsheins book on page 122. Porsche originally intended to sell the 911 S 2.7 along with the RS, but after a series of conflicting interests the S 2.7 was dropped from production. This car is what the S 2.7 would have been; essentially an RS Touring without the rear wing and a different front bumper. Modifications include a 7R case that was align bored with certs from Walt at Competition Engineering with new Mahle 2.7 pistons and cylinders, Fuel injection pump rebuilt to RS spec by Gus Pfister at Performance Injection, Throttle bodies by eurometrix, 7 and 8 inch Fuch restored by Weidmans, Sport seats with Cord. Inserts by Tony at autobahn Interior, Gear box with limited slip rebuilt by 901 Shop, and then final assembly by Automobile associates of Canton. This is a great car and a real substitute for an RS. In excellent condition inside and out. Over $80,000 in receipts and thats not all of them!

This is a rust free and accident free 911 and has receipts for $19,000. in recent major mechanical work done including a drive train out major service and reseal last year. Included in this $10,000. service was a new air box, injector seats and orings, intake boot air boot, backfire valve, spark plug wire set, distributer cap and rotor, oil pressure switch, breather hoses A/C and alternator belts, hood shocks, rear sway bar bushings and end links, outer tie rod ends, both front brake calipers and brake hoses, starter motor, oxygen sensor relay, shifter bushings, warm up regulator, clutch disc, pressure plate, release bearing and fork, pilot bearing and seal & oring as well as remachined flywheel and balance of clutch assembly. 1989 911 Turbo Coupe

1989 911 Turbo Coupe | 25,000 Miles

Here we have an excellent example of a 930 Turbo with only 25k two-owner miles. It features a Dark Blue exterior on Full Leather Linen interior with Blue piping. We purchased this car from the second owner who bought the car in 1998 when it only had 9,000 miles on it. The second owner was a collector who used it sparingly and only in nice weather. It was in dry, heated storage over the winters. The leather is still supple and soft. It has all original paint. It's been regularly serviced by a local air-cooled Porsche specialist. It has never been in an accident and is a non-smoker car with a clean CarFax. This is the last year of the iconic air-cooled 930's and features a 3.3L H6 mated to a G50 5-Speed Manual Transmission (only year the 930 had the G50). The car is completely stock and always has been. The smoothest, best driving 930 we've ever come across. This is a spectacular car with no sun damage, no accidents, no paint work, stored properly and taken care of by a particularly fussy Porsche owner, as good as they come!
1989 911 Turbo

1989 911 Turbo | 32,551 Miles

We purchased this car from the original owner in June of 2001 with 21,000 miles. We then sold it to a collector who only drove it 1500 miles in 11 months before he traded it back to us on a late model Porsche. We subsequently sold it to the last owner in June of 2002. He drove it less than 10k miles in the ensuing ten years. It is nicely equipped with heated sport black leather seats with red piping, an electric sunroof, locking differential, short shifter, rear wiper, CD AM/FM stereo radio, an amplifier system, stone guard foil, velour luggage compartment carpeting, and full beltline leather. This car looks, runs, and drives like new! It still has all original panels and paint, although the hood may have been painted for stone chips, but never damaged. It has the original tool kit, books, and jacket. We just spent over $5000 servicing and detailing it to our high standards.

The original top and Aventurine Green paint still look great, thanks in large part because the car has never been driven in snow. Additionally, the car has had over $15,000 in mechanical and cosmetic work over the last year and a half done by a specialty Porsche repair service facility. The care with which the car has been treated is reflected in the way the car feels and drives. The car also has an extensive list of factory options, including full power "comfort seats", 17" five spoke alloy wheels, locking differential, headlamp washers, heated seats, remote CD changer, and cruise control in addition to the standard amenities.

2003 X5 | 90,500 Miles

This great example of an E53 X5 just became available for purchase and features a Sienna Red Metallic (326) exterior on a Beige Dakota Leather (LCHC) interior. If you are looking for a no stories, properly maintained, near-perfect X5, this is it. Two owner car, no accidents ever, clean CarFax, always garaged, no winters before 2009, dealer maintained, complete service just performed, one of the best available with this mileage. Originally purchased in September, 2003, from BMW of Peabody by a gentleman who lighlty drove the car in the summers in MA and had it garage kept during the winters while he was in FL. We purchased the car in August, 2009 with 38k miles on the car. Since then we have driven the car 52k miles for a current total of 90k miles. Oil changes have been performed at 7,500 mile intervals. An Inspection II service was performed at 62k miles, and it just had an Inspection 1 (oil, front and rear wipers, microfilter, brake fluid flush) done in early July, 2013 along with a valve cover gasket and oil filter housing gasket replacement, fan clutch, tensioner and deflector pulley, A/C recharge, gas cap, and front and rear control arms. The right front sway bar link and high pressure power steering hose were replaced in March, 2013 at 84k miles. The front brakes were replaced in February of 2013 at 83k miles. The entire cooling system (excluding radiator), right front axle, and left front CV boots were replaced at 75k miles in July, 2012. The cooling system was replaced as preventative maintenance, not due to failure. There's plenty of other things that have been replaced on the car that I can't recall. The car is in excellent shape inside, out, and mechanically, you will find essentially nothing wrong with this car. The car is equipped with Cold Weather Package (ZCW), Rear Climate Package (ZRC), Premium Package (ZPP), Xenon Headlights (522), Hi-fi sound system (676), Auto-dimming mirrors (430), and STEPTRONIC automatics transmission (205). Brakes measure at 12mm in the front and 7mm in the rear. Tires measure at 5mm all around. The 3.0 M54 is by far the most reliable of the E53 X5 motors, and I'm sure this one has plenty of life left in it and has been maintained and cared for properly. Do yourself a favor and don't buy an X5 that needs thousands of dollars worth of maintenance, this needs none. My hope is that this car will move on to someone who can appreciate it as much as we did during our ownership.

Almost the entire car has been modified to LM Specs and performs much better than any other 308 GT4. 1965 Shelby Cobra

1965 Shelby Cobra | 9,200 Miles

These cars evoke the classic beauty and performance of a 1965 Shelby Cobra, but with modern day reliability. This roadster was traded in to us on a vintage 911 Porsche Turbo. It was professionally constructed and completed in 2004 with only 9,200 miles driven since. Boasting a 5.0 liter Mustang 302 SFI V-8 with Tremec 5 speed manual transmission and an upgraded 308 positraction rear differential. Among the many features of this car are Halibrand style aluminum alloy wheels, engine oil cooler, tubular headers into two high flow catalytic converters, and rear coil over shocks. This car has passed the rigorous Massachusetts enhanced emissions and safety tests for the last six years running, complete with receipts. It comes with a valid Massachusetts certificate of title and service records. It also includes a new, never installed set of black carpets and build manuals. With only two mature owners since its 2004 completion, it runs and drives excellent - just like the way it's classic namesake did.
